PestCheck ("the app") is operated by Outfield Web Services, a business of Aidan Gonzalez ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the app does with your information. We've tried to keep it short and literal rather than vague.
We do not require an account. We do not sell your data. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers. Photos you submit are sent to our server and on to our AI provider to produce an identification, and are not stored afterward.
The app does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, or precise location. It does not track you across other apps or websites.
Your photo and description are sent to our server, which forwards them to Anthropic, the provider of the Claude AI model that performs the identification. Anthropic returns a result, our server passes it back to your phone, and the image is discarded. We do not save your photos, and we do not build a profile from them.

The app asks for camera access so you can photograph a pest, and photo library access so you can pick an existing photo. Access is used only for the photo you actively select. The app does not browse, scan, or upload anything else from your library. You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.
When a result indicates professional treatment may be warranted, the app displays a featured pest control company. Tapping "Call now" opens your phone's dialer; tapping the website link opens your browser. We do not transmit your photo, description, or any personal information to those companies. Featured companies have an arrangement with us to be listed, and some pay for that placement. The app is free to use either way.
PestCheck is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We do not operate a user database. Submitted images and descriptions are held only in memory for the duration of the request. IP addresses are held in memory only for the rate limit window described above.
Because we do not store personal data or maintain accounts, there is no stored profile to access, correct, or delete. If you have a question or a request, contact us below and we will respond.
PestCheck provides AI-generated guidance for informational purposes. It can be wrong. It is not a substitute for inspection or treatment by a licensed pest control professional, and it is not medical or veterinary advice.
